Eswatini Outreach updates - March 2025

 

Hi, to everyone. Praise God for what He is doing in the nations and hopefully in your life. In the word there is life and that life is the light of men. Hopefully you read the Scripture and have the personalised Word from the Holy Spirit that gives you life!

Outreach for 2 weeks in Eswatini and SA

Wikus had the privilege with a few others to travel to Eswatini to present a seminar on godly governance. This was our second year we were going to present the seminar. The time of the seminar was moved at the last moment because the king decided that parliament would open 2 weeks earlier than normal. Half our team was not available at that time and we had to scramble… Through the grace of God everything worked out and we also asked Lindani Mazibuku (previously on Ywam Worcester) to be part of the team together with Dieter & Johannes from Ywam Mbabane and Allen from Ywam Harpenden.

In the end we ran a satisfying seminar in which we challenged the members of parliament to rule through the mind of Christ. Our message was well received and we were invited to the budget speech. It was a memorable experience and we learnt that the GDP of Eswatini rose with 5% and they hoped for 8% this year. We had an amazing time as we made new friends and grew in respect for the Swazi nation.

The next week Wikus and Allen did outreach in South Africa (Pretoria and Cape Town). God exceeded our expectations and we met leaders that also want to see godly governance take root in SA. Wikus also had the privilege to be invited for the SA budget speech. Please pray for SA as this is still initial engagements and we wait to see what possibilities there is in SA…

Start of all our online schools

• ¨  ART CONNECT Christien started with a team to train the art school online:. Alta Krige is leading and it is a very exciting new school to grow the artistic in people’s lives. They already had 2 zoom meetings with very good results. We are looking forward to seeing how it pans out.
• ¨  THE TPM SCHOOL Is starting this Saturday with a good amount of students. We are thankful for our experiences team of leaders/volunteers who support the students weekly in the small groups and helps with the arrangements. Our staff team is from all over South Africa and Ivory Coast/Netherlands.  We continually have sessions and we are amazed to see what God does through this school. I was called by a school in Promosa  to come and do sessions in the school. It is very touching to see Jesus revealing Himself to children in high school and helping them in their need.
• ¨  THE PROPHETIC SCHOOL starts the 4 March and we are looking forward to seeing the next batch of prophetic school students equipped and sent out. The gospel that leads towards the Holy Spirit has amazing results and we see a lot of fruit and hear lots of testimonies how God uses the students after the school. So thankful for a French and English staff team  from all over the world – Cameroon /England, Madagascar& Ivory Coast

Katherine safely born

Andrea gave birth to a healthy baby Katherine, we are so thankful to the Lord who helped in every step! We are very happy with them and we are looking forward to seeing the family grow and prosper in every area. They will be moving to a new flat soon and we are praying for them in their growing ministry under the deaf community in Pretoria. They are also part of YWAM Frontier missions and YWAM Deaf world. 

Job & IIda and Matthew & Elandri also expecting

It is the year of the grandbabies for us as we are hoping to welcome another 2 grandbabies. We are waiting for another two boys that are expected in April. Please pray for the safe delivery of these two boys and for their wonderful parents – we are so excited with them.

5)    Finances for our trips coming up in May – We plant to go to a YWAM UofN African conference in Namibia and also a trip to visit Job and Iida in Finland (combined with visiting YWAM friends).
