Four online courses starting soon

 

Hi, to everyone. Hope you have a very blessed 2025. We hope you see the coming of God’s kingdom in your life as this is the true hope of all of humanity. As students of the kingdom of God we see the presence of God and the kingdom of God coming in communities. This is the antidote to evil, corruption and all kinds of trials and tribulations that come because of sin. A personal relationship with Jesus gives hope for every day and also for eternity.

The kingdom of God coming in Potchefstroom

We are thankful for what God is doing through Ywam in Potch. We started with a base in 2013 and today there are 2 bases with different focuses in Potch.

Ywam has the worldview of becoming quiet and waiting on the Holy Spirit for guidance. I have found that worldview to be extremely powerful and we have seen amazing things that God does if you live in dependence on Him. As Potch is a headquarters of all kinds of training in South-Africa, it has the potential of shifting worldview in the country.

Specialising more in humanities and business as missions

I am on my way to Eswatini the 9th of February. We will once again minister to important leaders in the country with a Ywam team. We have speakers from Ywam Harpenden, Ywam in Mbabane and Ywam Potch joining forces in the outreach. We are looking to also form an NGO to serve the youth at the schools in the country. We also have an outreach to some leaders in SA afterwards. Please pray with us for the political sciences outreach in the Southern African regions that can have a great effect. The Holy Spirit showed me a picture of the kingdom of heaven pollinating the governmental sphere. We constantly need the favour of God to proceed in this sphere. Please pray with us.

I have been walking a path with a Christian business that now is working on one of the biggest infrastructure projects in Africa. The business has the heart to bring the kingdom of God where they go. I am part of a group of men that tries to listen to the guidance of the Holy Spirit for His ways in the future of business as mission in the marketplace.

Constant counselling sessions

We thank God for the TPM-move that has been part of Ywam Potch from the beginning. We have seen God restoring many individuals and marriages in the process. We thank God for Ulbe and Marleen doing internet courses on marriages (See ywampotch.com). We can always refer people to them to do a professional job with couples while we see many individuals. We daily have people coming through physically and also on the phone we do regular sessions. Christien has a new TPM course coming in March and we already see a keen interest from many people. When we did outreach on humanities we realised that trauma is something God wants to address in nations. We are also part of the TPMSA conference organising committee.

The “massify” project

With the prophetic school I am working with Carel Bosman to build an internet curriculum that could be accessible to the masses. He has experience in building such curriculums. I have to learn ways to make youtube videos and how to create videos. It is a challenge currently but I am painfully trying to learn. It is material that truly needs to be heard by the masses but it is a big project. We are inching along weekly but hope to pick up speed as I get more experience in video making. Please pray with us for that project.

We are starting with a new prophetic school in March as well.

Baby on her way!

Andrea is already at the final stage - her due date is the 3rd of February. We are ready to go to Pretoria to assist. Francois and Andrea have an amazing ministry that takes a lot of faith to step into. They are working with the deaf and are starting to find their feet. Jonathan has also started to work in Pretoria and we are starting to live and work closer to things happening in Pretoria. Please pray with us and them for a safe delivery of Katherine. We are really looking forward to welcoming the new bundle of joy in our midst.  Please also pray for Elandri and Iida that expect both their baby boys in April!
