Work creation centre
We have been
looking for a candidate for a few months and we have interviewed up to ten
candidates in search of the right candidate. We believe we have now found the
right candidate that is also involved in a multicultural church. She has
started with the training and the possibilities of starting the centre looks
very good at this stage. She still have a few months of training ahead of her.
If everything goes well we are looking to open the centre at the beginning of
September.
We have a lot of
different churches involved in the project as well as former economists and
developers.
Having a fund available for short term business loans
One of our
co-workers is a specialist when it comes to fund management. He asks Christians
to donate a R100 a month. That goes toward a fund where we can then give
start-up loans to individuals that have done some of the courses at the Work 4
a Living centre. Those that want to start a business can then get a short term
loan to start their vision of what they want to do.
The centre will
provide a two week work readiness course and then several short courses like
computer literacy, events management, entrepreneurship etc. Please pray with us
as this centre can provide work to a lot of people. The courses are Christian
based and discipleship focused while providing skills.
Grass roots preaching cycle
A pastor has asked
me to be part of a preaching team that preaches at various churches and new
church plantings in the area. I have
offered to be part of the preaching team for a while and then to help with
pastors training. As I am doing a two year theological course myself (E2M) I can help to enrol them and to train up and
coming leaders in the various churches. The pastors training and the work
creation possibilities both help towards community development.
Outreach from the YWAM humanities school
The YWAM Harpenton Advocacy,
Law and Justice school is bringing an outreach team to Eswatini and SA and we
are hosting the team in July in partnership with the Eswatini and a
Johannesburg base. This can be a very important outreach as we make contact
with high level leaders in order to disciple those in powerful positions. SA
has elections the 29 May and this can be an important election for the country.
Please pray for safety and a free and fair elections for all.
Social media
Christien
is responsible for our website, social media for YWAM Potch, ourselves. TPM in
SA, Operaion Refugee Africa and some other admin work. Its her passion to connect people
from all nations, to include them in our online courses and to see them grow in
their relationship with Jesus. She also has a temporary lecturing job at the university that keeps her busy from
time to time. She also do a lot of TPM
sessions and support the new TPM staff, students and people who start a new TPM
hotspot! please pray for her for focus
and wisdom in her work.
Schools finishing this month
We are finishing up
with the Prophetic school, the TPM school and the Marriage school is ongoing
through the month. We thank God for all the students that took part in the
schools and all the new ministries that are being created through the schools
in their area of speciality.

for our country’s election today ! For Peace and good governance for everyone!!

Please praise the Lord with us for
the three online schools that were very blessed and fruitful, we are so
thankful to have a team of staff and helpers who make the load lighter, they
also love to serve, share and lead groups. What a joy to work toghter with
staff from all over the world!

project and the interdenominational team that works toghter to get the weels
rolling.

Please pray for the new churches
that was planted and that new pastors can be trained for the ministry under our
local african brothers and sisters!

Please pray for Andrea and
Francois and their outreach team as part of the DEAF DTS, they still have a
month of outreach!

Please also pray for our three
youngest children who are currently busy with exams.
