TPM Conference in Kroonstad

Highlights of the year

We thank God for a very good year in the gospel. We had several highlights this year and we are thankful for the new people we have met and the new relationships we have made through the year.

Prophetic schools

We had 2 prophetic schools online with very good attendance and 2 prophetic schools in-person with students. The hunger among people to improve their relationship with the Holy Spirit is always there and we thank God for the prophetic school that focuses directly on people’s relationship with God. It is a great joy to see people grow in their relationship with God. There is continual potential with the prophetic school, and we have a very good international team that does a very good job in helping people increase in their giftings.

TPM schools and conference (Transformation Prayer Ministry)

Christien has done 2 schools this year with very good attendance, and we are thankful for every new TPM ministry that is being born. We did a lot of sessions as well in SA and internationally. We had a very good hybrid conference in Kroonstad for TPM as well, which helps to stimulate sessions and helps others to grow in knowledge. We had very good speakers and we could make it available online for those who could not attend physically.

Ywam meetings

We had the privilege to be invited to the African summit and the South-African leadership meeting. We met with the 11 deans of the different faculties and now we know them better and can work with them. These meetings were held in Muizenberg and Jeffreys Bay. It is always a privilege to be connected to the Ywam family and to grow in relationship with them.

Speaking at Ywam Schools

Wikus went to Bethlehem and he spoke at the YWAM DTS (Discipleship Training School).  It was a very blessed time spent with the young Missionaries. CLICK here for a testimony of this week’s teaching.

He was also invited to speak on a Missions Seminar in Cameroon via Zoom this past Saturday. The message was translated and the discussions in French, it was a great time of input in community leaders on the topic of Family and Missions.

Outreach to Finland and Eswatini

Our outreach to Eswatini was very blessed as we attended the parliamentary opening for the pastors. It was really a very interesting cultural experience as we saw the king and the queen mother and all the wives of the King. The pastors gave very good messages. Since the visit is connected with YWAM Mbabane Eswatini, there will be follow-up visits and more opportunities in the future.

Job and Iida are currently in Finland, and we visited them for 3 weeks. We also connected with Ywam Helsinki and did a few TPM sessions. We made quite a few new friends that we still have relationship with. Because Job, Iida and Diina are there we plan to go once a year. This consistency can help us to establish a ministry in Finland and gives us some exposure and connections in Europe.

 

Establishing a work creation center

We have been in contact with Work for a Living. Together with Touching Africa and in partnership with Mosaic NGO there is a possibility to establish a training center for work creation. Brendon is already doing courses and could be the facilitator at the center. The wheels are already in motion, and we hope to establish the center in May of 2024. We hope this works out as it will greatly increase the number of short courses we can partner in for the community and in the Township (African area).

PRAYER TOPICS

·         Please pray for 2024 and new opportunities – work creation is crucial if we want to connect with the community and bring the Good News of Jesus!

·         Let’s also pray for students and staff for our online courses.(see more on ywampotch.com)

·         Pray also for our finances and for provision for us and also our missions trips next year.

Please pray with us for our children who each have different challenges.

• ·         Andrea and Francois will go to YWAM Worcester where he will staff a DTS for the Deaf community, Andrea will also join the school as a student. Please pray for their finances and to be full of the Holy Spirit.
• ·         Elandri and Matthew will marry end of January, please pray for the wedding arrangements and their new journey together, as they really want to follow Jesus in their careers en their life.
• ·         Josua and Jonathan will be studying again this year and they are both very involved in the Students of the church.
• ·         Job and Iida and Diina will return to Finland after the holiday – please also pray for their journey, standing firm in their faith and that they as a family will can be a Light.

May this is be a time of rest, peace and reflection. Ask the Lord for new opportunities and adventures for 2024, and that you can follow His direction. Thank you for everyone who prayed for us this year, who donated and sowed into our ministry and for encouraging us. We could relly start seeing some fruits of our labor and new doors opening for the gospel of Peace!
