More than we can ask or imagine - May news

 Hi to everyone. Hope you are doing very well.

This verse has meant a lot for us in the last few months. ^{Eph 3:20} Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us…

“What is the end when we follow Christ?”- When we were in a discussion with a few businessmen this question arose from a businessman. As we live by faith and follow where the Holy Spirit leads us this was an interesting question. What we experienced in the last few months was that God was doing things far above what we could pray or think!

Blessed Outreach to Eswatini (Swaziland)

Earlier this year I was invited to YWAM Eswatini to teach at a Worldview Week on a Discipleship Training School. Before I went, we heard about riots in Eswatini, and we prayed if I should go or not. After a good week speaking at this base, I was driving back home and then the Holy Spirit said: “Go and speak to the king of Swaziland.”

We arranged it and recently we went on this outreach. When we arrived at the base again, I realised the immensity of this word. Speaking to the king was no easy thing! Each morning we listened to the Holy Spirit what we should do and who we should meet. Later we were invited to visit parliament and the person in parliament said: “Maybe you should speak to the king’s house!”

Within three hours we spoke to the spokesman of the king! This type of meeting normally takes at least one month but God had a purpose with the meeting. We have learnt a lot about the history of the country, and we believe we can play a role in the development of the country. In the last few months, I have learnt what it means that Jesus is the Prince of Peace.

Pioneering the YWAM International African refugee circle

I had the privilege of being part of the International Refugee Circle for a year. In that time, I could see how an official circle of Ywam operates and we are now in the process of working to formally launch the African refugee circle. The refugees in the world are currently more than South Africa. It is a country all on its own. The new refugee crisis in Ukraine has caused more than 6.7 million refugees.

For some reason God has called me for refugees and to bring justice and order in the midst of chaos through hearing what the Holy Spirit wants to do. Already this has given birth to some very good meetings of YWAM African leaders (who are involved in Refugees) where we have really seen the hand of God at work. Please pray with us for the forming of the African refugee circle.

Continuing with schools

For our calling the internet schools suit us better at present as it gives room for many international relationships. It also suits the calling of mission in the spheres of society better. We are currently working on the French translation of the Refugee School and will be having the Prophetic School, Transformation Prayer Ministry School and the Evangelising Worldview schools again in July. We do continual stream of TPM sessions, and this makes out our day-to-day ministry with speaking on DTS  and sometimes very important meetings. I had the privilege to speak on the Rwanda DTS on the Holy Spirit and spiritual warfare last week via Zoom. There were 20 students and nearly 10 staff. It was a very good time with the emerging leaders of Central Africa. (See our Online Schools ywampotch.com)

Josua in Netherlands

Josua is finished with 7 weeks of DTS in Netherlands. They are going to Norway for THE SEND conference and then they are going to Romania for their outreach phase. He still needs a lot of money for his outreach, and we are trusting God to provide. Josua really took on a financial mountain by going to Netherlands for his DTS but so far God has helped him a lot and he needs continual faith for all his financial challenges. But he is so far!  Andrea and Francois also plan to do outreach to Zimbabwe in the holidays – please pray for them too.

^{Rom 1:17} For in the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed—a righteousness that is by faith from first to last,^[a] just as it is written: “The righteous will live by faith. This verse has really spoken to us in the last few weeks as well. Everywhere I meet people that follow God in any sphere; they need to live by faith. I have seen and learnt the principles that are needed for faith in action. Josua has seen these principles as he grew up and he is applying it now. It is not easy, but you surely grow through it and you have many adventures while applying the principles!
