Hi, to everyone

Hope you are doing very well and you are blessed even in the midst of everyone that is happening in the world today. Here are our latest updates.

Speaking on DTS in Swaziland

Earlier this year I also talked on the DTS in Swaziland but decided this time travel through and be on the base physically and not do it only on zoom. Before we went I heard that there were riots in the streets but after praying decided to go in any case. It is a day’s journey, first to the Airport and then getting a shuttle from there to Swaziland. On the border nearly I got some problems to enter to “teach” but they allowed me when I said I will “preach”.

The base is situated on a mountain and mist came through most of my time there and it is a totally different weather system than here. When I entered the country I saw that a queen mother and king ruled the country. It is a total African monarchy and I heard that the king went to have the Incwala festival. So the riots stopped because the king was going to inquire of the ancestors!

In the midst of this I was asked to speak on worldview. Johannes Wessels is now base leader in YWAM Swaziland, he and his family did DTS with us in Potchefstroom. We had interesting discussions with the group doing DTS and the week on worldview gave them perspective on different worldviews, the worldview they are coming from and also some of the worldviews working in the churches in their area. Please pray for Swaziland. There are many churches in Swaziland and there seem to be growing discontent with the monarchy.

DTS postponed due to newest lockdowns

Pastor Kim bought a mission farm and is developing his ministry little servants on the farm. Our staff is helping to develop the ministry and he has graciously given us the privilege to host a DTS there. But due to the newest lockdowns (new variant) and other challenges we are facing, like buildings that are not yet finished, we have decided to only run ministries for the foreseeable future. The staff is doing very well with developing the property, planting and helping with Sunday service. Sai-moon is overseeing the building, but he also give out food for people on the street and pray for them regularly. He and Charity are really a blessing.

Our internet schools are running very well and we look forward to starting discipling people at the property but we have to navigate a new wave of Corona and lockdowns in the near future which complicates evangelism and discipleship. Please pray with us for the discipling of people.

Andrea and Francois getting married

Josua is finishing his matric exams this week and then we are preparing for Andrea and Francois to get married in two weeks. Their wedding date is the 16th December. Francois was a very faithful school leader in YWAM Potch and has a real servant's heart. We are looking forward to their big day. It will be our second out of 5 kids that will get married. Elandri and Jonathan also have a boyfriend and girlfriend currently. We are doing everything ourselves, so it is a busy time before us. We had a beautiful Kitchen tea for Andrea and she were so blessed with lots of presents and a caring and praying group of ladies that will support her in the future too!

Finishing with the worldview school

This year we ran 2 prophetic schools, 2 TPM schools and a Biblical worldview school online. I also talked at 6 DTS’s worldwide on different topics. It was our first worldview school that we ran in partnership with Ratio Christi and we will update and continue to refine the school for next year. It is a powerful school as it studies belief systems we see in the world currently and what the bible says on these worldviews.
