Looking forward to 2021

 Happy new year to everyone!!

May this year be a very blessed year and may we overcome the year of the pandemic and go into years of victory and prosperity.

2020 was a year of seasonal change for us. We had the twins in matric and a pandemic to deal with. The pandemic made it almost impossible for us to do in-person discipleship with the DTS groups although we saw many people individually for counseling sessions. But a new door for internet discipleship opened up for us and we had very big schools with the internet. We also realized that there is an incredible number of people that are looking for high quality internet schools. The development of the prophetic school and the TPM course made 2020 a success for us as it added a very important tool for us to be able to disciple worldwide on the internet platform. We also then had the biggest school we had ever with 50 people participating in the prophetic school in the last quarter of the year.

Our twins eventually passed with flying colors although we had to put in a lot more effort as parents as it was emotional, on and off, lockdowns, exam dates changing and an extended period of school as it was like being in a washing machine. But we came out successful and healthy at the end of the year for which we thank God.

International travel was a no-no for 2020. This year we already have invitations to Malawi, the DRC and speaking on a DTS in another city in SA. We will continue to monitor the possibilities to travel but we have three prophetic schools set up and 2 counseling schools. Through the weeks we have many counseling sessions that makes the base active continually. I am working on a possible new worldview school that may be launched through the year. SiMoon and Charity (from Myanmar) who still stays here are very active with mercy ministry with food parcels, online preaching and reaching to other foreigners in the city – being support and family for them.

Josua is in matric (final year) this year and after this year all our kids are out of school! We are continuing to see what the new season looks like for us. Our house is getting more empty every year and the possibilities to travel gets more relevant as a couple. But with the pandemic still going at a high pace, our planning is still internet schools for the first semester of 2021

Continual counseling sessions – Transformation Prayer ministry

I have been asked to play a leading role in TPMSA again this year and we have continual sessions with people. This includes marriage and relational issues, young people seeking direction and even suicidal tendencies. Because we have a flow of people every week we get busy very quickly and our weeks fill up with appointments. We really see the flow of the Holy Spirit and we have learnt to wait for God’s agenda and what He wants to do with our schedule.

Christien works part time at the university to help with the funds and we had a workable schedule for the last couple of years. We will continue to see what God will put on our plate but we are very happy that we have more than enough planned with the Holy Spirit to see a lot of people transformed and many people encountering the Presence of God.

Please pray with us a s we are set apart to do the work of God and to train those who want to follow the Holy Spirit and Lordship in their lives.

May you have a very blessed 2021, may you be filled with eternal hope and have the strength to see through this difficult times we had to pass together.
