Grateful for 2017 !

Merry Christmas and happy new year to all! Thank you for praying with us, taking time out to read the newsletters or partnering with us. Without partnership we cannot exist. You are very highly valued and appreciated. By standing with us you help us to expand the gospel and to bring the kingdom of heaven to earth.

Highlights of 2017

Current training of the discipleship training school

We are very blessed to have 11 students from 6 different nations and also to have Steven from the DRC staffing. We are currently busy with the DTS and had a Christmas dinner for the DTS. We finished with classes the 21December and resume the 2 January. We have a great group and we have 2 families doing the DTS. It is a great privilege to release families in mission as we are a family in mission ourselves. We start on the 2 January with Geoff from Australia talking on worldview. We have 6 more lectures weeks left and then we start with outreach.

We thank God as these things didn’t seem possible in the beginning of the year but God makes it possible as we obey step by step.

Ø  -6 TPM schools in 5 different locations

Ø  -Our first prophetic school

Ø  -Outreaches to Malawi, Mozambique and  UN /YWAM meeting in Switzerland.

Ø  -DTS

Ø  -DNA infusion with the original founders of YWAM in Cape Town.

Ø  -Appointment as chairman and secretary of TPMSA (Transformation Prayer Ministry).

Ø  -A visit and a presentation to the UN.

We trained about 70 students this year in TPM, prophetic school and DTS.

The power of training

I talked to one of the students we trained last year in Ventersdorp and he estimated that he has done 400 sessions in a year and a half. As we have trained 185 facilitators it is very difficult to estimate the impact of it. But the estimate is a few thousand sessions that has flowed out of it. Many times we felt it would be easier to have a church to understand or measure the impact we have. Yet it is very difficult to measure the impact when you train people and release them to live their calling. Yet this is the power and the mystery of YWAM. We are rejoicing in the people standing up in ministry and finding their callings.

We are currently seeing people that we have trained that are becoming trainers. We have successfully trained trainers in TPM and are currently busy to train DTS trainers. World mission is all about equipping others and broadening the circles of equipping people. Next year we can build on the foundations of this year.
