We thank God for the first semester and all that He was doing. Thank you also to those that were praying for God’s kingdom to come in this time. Andrea and Francois joined us in the first semester. We could do successful outreach as well as presenting different schools. Here is some of the current news.

Speaking at the Rwanda DTS

We had a very good week at the Rwanda DTS. I spoke online because of the Ebola outbreak in the Rwanda/Congo area. I had quite a struggle if I should go or not. I heard about the outbreak of Ebola after I already bought the flight tickets. As I communicated with the Rwanda base about the situation, the school leaders agreed that I would speak online. It is better to be there in person, but we still had quite a good week as I could do all the teaching and a lot of activities, the students really appreciated it. There were about 14 DTS students from the central African region.

Preparing for the TPMSA conference

We have been training schools for TPM since 2009 twice a year and we have trained a lot of students in TPM. There is also other TPM trainings in South Africa. It has grown into a powerful movement with many sessions happening that we don’t even know about because of the sheer number of mentors that have been trained. We have a conference each year. We will have the conference online on the 25 July. The conference will consist of some speakers and also small group interactions and Q& A time, we are very excited. We also plan to join a Cape Town TPM conference in October this year, but more about it later.

Christien had a very good school in the first semester with lots of staff and students from all over the world. It’s interesting that husband and wives are doing the course together in order to do TPM in their ministry. Our new TPM School starts the first of August.

Job and family visiting from Finland

We were privileged that Job, Iida, Dominik and Diina visited from Finland. They visited for three weeks, and we had a family gathering at this time as well as a men’s outing to the farm. We had a very good time with Job that is our first child that is busy with his Astrophysics doctorate in Finland. Jonathan is going to India in October to attend a wedding of his girlfriend’s sister in India.

Prophetic school finishing up

We had a fruitful prophetic school, and we are very privileged to have met all the new students. We will be finishing next week with the practical phase, and we are thanking God for the prophetic school that is important for the kingdom of God. It is important for the kingdom of God because the prophetic is important for every believer to understand as all of us should have a good relationship with the Holy Spirit. Yet for the body of Christ, we need good prophetic people that are well established in knowledge and character to avoid the pitfalls and traps that can be for those that are not walking in proper discernment.

Prayer topics:

1)    For fruitful work for God’s kingdom in the second semester.

2)    For health and provision as it has been areas we struggled in a bit in the winter season.

3)    For good and fruitful schools and staying in touch with the new things God is doing.

For our extended family as Wikus ‘s dad passed away last night very suddenly. We are thankful for him who loved to spend time with kids, grandkids and great-grandkids every Saturday! He was also a theologian and a professor in Ethics. Please pray with us.
