Eswatini and Lesotoh outreach updates

Newsletter April 2026

Hope you are well as you receive this newsletter. We thank God what He was doing the fist semester. Many things have happened that we are very thankful and amazed at. We did our governmental outreach to Lesotho, SA and Eswatini. It was hard work and great fun. Here are some more insights:

Lesotho

It was the first time we did outreach to Lesotho, and I didn’t even properly know where it precisely was in SA.

This time we went to Maseru with Karabo Molefe. Karabo was a refugee (in the time of Apartheid) in Lesotho, and it was interesting to hear his stories about those days. We were looking to have meetings with leaders of influence and to hear from the Holy Spirit what He wants to do in the country.

Our highest-level meeting was with Tim that was the under president of the World Bank about two decades or so ago. He was also the under president of the SA reserve bank for a season.

We also met with some government officials and ex government officials, people of the law and high-level pastors. At night we saw that there were crosses in all four directions and you could see them at night. Lesotho became very Christian and they were eager to see us and to have meetings with us. We were only looking for connections in Lesotho, and we fulfilled our mission in Lesotho. Now we can have zoom meetings throughout the year.

Eswatini

In Eswatini we were privileged to invite Africa Mohlope for our main event. We were also working with Scripture Union. We could teach school prefects (leaders) of 18 schools in 2 cities and had about 80 and 150 prefects at the different events.

After that we had the training for government leaders and were invited afterwards to King Mswati’s 40th celebrations as king. There were about 1200 people at the event, and it was a great privilege to be invited and to share in the event. It was our fourth or so visit to the parliament in Eswatini. Trust has been built every year, and we were privileged to have shared discipleship tools with high level leaders.

SA parliament

In the SA parliament we had a meeting scheduled with Mr Mmusi Maimane. He is very interested in how to do moral infusion at parliament. I wrote a proposal about how to do it and we were going to talk with him about the possibilities. Julie Anjo invited his fellow parliamentarian to faith-based meetings at the UN, and we could discuss possibilities with Mmusi for moral infusion. She also had an interesting podcast –interview with her – see link

Although it was only a few days, trust is building and we are moving closer to a working arrangement where possible discipleship can be done with influential leaders through the godly governance program. We constantly need a lot of faith, boldness and wisdom to continue to expand the godly governance movement..

TPM and Prophetic schools running

Both our online schools are running currently and we will be on zooming many hours per week. We also get a lot of personal calls and questions from students and staff that are very positive, but also take some time. Andrea finished her third art journaling course with 8 students (a good number for a very practical course) and she said it was so blessed!

Our health and family

We are thankful to be better after the whole family had a stomach flu that did its rounds in Potch. Please keep praying for the two moms with small babies and Elandri that is expecting again in June. May the Lord protect and provide everything for the little boy and his mom (and dad).

Please pray for Job and family’s arrangements to visit in the winter. Pray also with us for Jonathan who is currently moving to Mosselbay for his work – and all the arrangements and adaption to a new place. Andrea and Francois is moving into their own flat today after some weeks staying with us. We are so thankful for a lovely spacious place! Please pray for them to adapt back to Potch! We praise God for Josua’s graduation ceremony (BSc IT & Math’s) and that the Lord really blesses Josua in his studies!!
