We were honored to attend a reconciliation meeting between the Matabele and Afrikaners in our town this weekend. It was a prayerful Christian meeting with a focus on the Cross of Jesus!

Invitation to Rwanda

I was asked to speak on the YWAM DTS in Rwanda end of June, on “Hearing the voice of God”. Last time was my first time on the beautiful base in Rwanda. They have a big property that was built just after the genocide. Now there is a pre-school, a primary school of about 250 kids and they have UofN (University of the Nations) training. Last time there were amazing students from the central Africa region and I made good friends. It is in June and with the flights that are now more expensive I need a bit more to cover the flight to Rwanda. Please pray with us.

The TPMSA conference

The TPM is powering ahead as we train more facilitators for hearing God’s voice in your areas of emotional pain. We are in the process of organizing the online conference in July and Ruan is in the process of organizing the in-person conference in Cape Town early October. Please let us know if you want to join.

The TPM is an excellent way of producing self-motivated, self-multiplying organisms. Please pray with us for the conferences. Things are really moving in the Cape Town region, and we pray for more facilitators to take the healing into the townships.

The TPM course is also moving towards its end and the students and staff are busy practicing the process in the small groups. The students testify that they have much more peace and emotional breakthrough. Please pray for them to end well. We will start a new season of online courses in August.

Writing curriculum for spiritual formation for the government sphere

We thank God for opening the door to influential people especially in Eswatini, SA and Lesotho. We are in the process of launching internet schools to influence these spheres. The internet school is doable, accessible, cheap, and contextual and we can continually walk with leaders equipping them as they grow in the Lord. This is a key area for Africa to grow in. Please pray for the move of God in the reformation of the government realm in the Southern African region.

Andrea and Francois joining the base

Andrea and Francois have joined the work in Potch and we are currently discussing events we can teach in the Ikageng and Promosa area. We are walking with them to see what their passion, calling and direction is they want to lead into. We have learnt through the years not to strive but to flow in what God is doing. We are waiting together on the Holy Spirit what He wants to do in the next season. At this stage we have online schools and we are branching out into seminars in the community. Andrea is again hosting her 4 weeks online Arts journaling course that focus on creative quiet times and prayer life.

Iida and Job visiting from Finland       

On a family note, Iida and Job will visit the end of the month from Finland. They met after the DTS of Iida at Ywam Potch and they are a direct fruit of the DTS’s we did in the past.

We are excited to see our grandchildren Dominik and Diina and spend quality time with them and their parents that stay so far..

Elandri is expecting a new baby boy, Arthur, in May or June. We are thankful be able to help our children with the grandchildren. We are in the phase where the grandkids are multiplying and where we are navigating how that looks with missions.

Please pray for the children, safe travels, healthy baby and mom and for the rest of the family too!
