Hi, I hope everyone is doing very well. We have really seen God doing amazing things in the last month. Here are a few of the highlights.
Eswatini and SA outreach
We had a wonderful time on the
humanities outreach. With this outreach we try to build relationships with
people of influence to help them in their relationship with Jesus. Last year we
held the godly governance seminar and this year we went with a follow up for
this outreach. It was very blessed and we also built some initial relationships
in South Africa in the second leg of the outreach. Please continue to pray for
Eswatini and SA as we believe God has some amazing plans for these two
countries.
Speaking at DTS in Dzaleka Malawi (on zoom)
I spoke two weeks ago at the DTS of YWAM Dzaleka on From Refugee to Champion. Dzaleka is a refugee camp of 70 000 people, from mainly DRC. I was planning to fly to Malawi for the week but because they were severely struggling with money, we agreed that I will donate the money of the ticket to the base for food and then speak over zoom. We had a very blessed week and I am very happy that they are seeing the DTS of 5 students through this time after they cancelled the previous DTS due to a lack of finances. There is very good staff there and we hope they can add another 5 ministries to work at the camp…Please pray for this amazing YWAM staff and students, who are serving God in their difficult situation and bringing the Hope of God to the refugees.
I was invited to sit in on zoom
for a teaching on missional justice. The week was hosted by Julie Anjo who
works with YWAM humanities department. This was a very blessed week for me. It
opened my eyes to holistic advocacy on justice issues. It is always very
blessed to be able to get up to date on the research and the ministries of
people that already put a lot of work into certain areas of specialised
ministry
We also started with a new online
prophetic school. We have 38 people in the group. We have many different
nations. We are quite blessed as a previous student from Burundi published the
prophetic school on YouTube as well: Click here to Listen. We are blessed when the gospel goes out.
The prophetic school is of great help in Africa where there can be problems
with syncretism. The influence of the prophetic school continues to grow and we
have a great group. Please pray with us for the school.
New TPM group (Transformation Prayer Ministry)
We also started with a new Transformation
Prayer training group. This school has been running from 2009 every year. Most of
our current students are in ministry themselves and will use the tool of TPM
for their community. We are also so thankful for a team of 10+ staff who
volunteer to help the small groups’ training and mark homework and do personal
TPM sessions with the students.
TPM is for every Christian to get Truth in their belief system, where the lies of the world came in. By multiplying the tool we can reach thousands of people and equip everyone doing the school.. Please pray for this training and ministry!

Art exhibition – Mom & Daughter’s art
Christien and Andrea and Elandri and Christien’s mom also got invited to exhibit their art at an art exhibition at a local gallery these past weeks. What an opportunity to share the joyful art we make! See more photos about this on our Facebook page Mom & Daughters art or jaarsma.co.za
In connection with this, Andrea
and Christien are also invited to speak at a women’s church group in
Johannesburg on Creativity and Prayer. Please pray for the opportunity to share
the Presence of God through Creativity!
Andrea and Francois have come with the joyful news that we are going to have a second grandchild. I cannot believe the time is moving along so quickly. They announced last week that it is a girl!! Andrea and Francois are also moving to Pretoria for the start of their ministry under the deaf people in Pretoria. Please pray for their ministry with a church and schools there in Pretoria.
Jonathan is on his way to outreach to a country in Asia, we are so thankful that his team could get all their
money in less than a month! Please pray for their prayer-outreach.
Job is thankful to finish an academic
article in as part of his PhD! We thank the Lord and pray for him and Iida and
Diina in Finland!
Josua is doing well with his degree and
he is very active involved in Church, Ration Christi and Light-group!
Christien attended Elandri’s Potch4Life meeting on Saturday, it is amazing how the Lord blessed their work in just one year. They have regular stalls on the University campus where they talk to students, they also have an organisation that support unplanned pregnant ladies on campus and much more - Please pray for this group of passionate people!
