August news - Vorsters
Hi from Potch. We thank God for all that He is doing. The gospel stays
essential to every human being and we see and experience it.
We have experienced growth in 3 departments this month and we see God
moving as we are moving in His strategy.
Circles, cycles and
circuits
Loren Cunningham
(YWAM Founder) felt the Holy Spirit was putting on his heart that there are
circles, cycles and circuits of influence. It is amazing to see that the Holy
Spirit works in this way on our base as well.

It is nice to see the
circles developing and we have a group of leaders planting the counselling of
the TPM in different areas as well.
Ø Circuits
Circuits refer to the
different area that God sends the specific base to. It is an area that God
wants you to preach the gospel too. Our circuit is very interesting and is a
great joy to see. We have done training in Krugersdorp and and we went to Swartruggens
this past Saturday as well. It is great to see how we travel to different
cities as we train people in Potch and they get work in other areas. Cities
where we did trainings, preached and have connections is: Potchefstroom,
Ikageng, Ventersdorp, Ottosdal, Koster, Swartruggens, Krugersdorp, Fochville,
Ennerdale, Vanderbijlpark and Vereeniging. It is amazing to see that in some
way God has given these cities to be our circuit. We are not big in these areas
but collectively it is already quite an impact. We thank and praise God for it
and are praying that all these areas will grow bigger.
Ø Cycles
Cycles refer to the
time that passes between the different visits. We plant and we water but it is
God that lets grow. Because of this dynamic we can go where the Holy Spirit
leads us at the time he wants to send us. It is wonderful to come back to the
area and to see what growth have taken place.

with different role players and we have different options we can take.

Refugees
We thank God that we
could get 2 refugees to do DTS and they are currently busy doing their DTS in
Blantyre. We also send a monthly newsletter out for the sponsorship of refugees
to do DTS. When we reached out to the refugee camp we got 50 people that are
interested in DTS. Currently we are running a fund that we can realise this
dream.
We send 2 refugee
leaders to the DTS and with Steven it is 3 good leaders that can help us with
this vision. There are 23000 people in the refugee camp. Most of the refugees
are Congolese, Rwandan and Burundian. In this way we can raise refugees as
missionaries to these different countries.
Ø PLEASE PRAY for our 2
students doing DTS currently, they still need some funds. Let us know if you
want to be one of our sponsors / prayer partners.
Ø We also plan to visit
the Refugee camp early in October. Please pray with us for the finances of this
outreach.
How is the kids doing?
Job is doing DTS in
Muizenberg. His outreach phase starts the 10 September. They are going to
Namibia for outreach and we hope many people can come to Jesus through their
outreach. If you still want to donate for this outreach – please contact us for
his banking details. He still needs some funds.

Andrea is starting
tomorrow with her record exam. She will be writing exams for the next few
months as she is finishing with school. She also has her matric farewell end of
this month. You will see photo’s in our next newsletter!!
Elandri, Jonathan and
Joshua are going to school as usual and all three of them are doing very well.
Ministering in different towns
This month we had the
privilege to do counselling ministry with our team in Krugersdorp and
Swartruggens where we are praying and trusting God for new trainings to start.
We are also planning
to speak at a conference this month with an African church in our local
township. God is monthly giving us new contacts and new relationships and we
thank and praise God for what he is doing.
