2025 Highlights and Christmas wishes

Merry Christmas !!

We want to thank everyone that opened our newsletters, prayed for us or sponsored us in the year. You are all very precious and we are available if anyone needs ministry prayer or has questions about missions.

We wish you all a merry Christmas and a time of good rest as you spend time with family and friends.

We share a few highlights in the photos

·         I had the great privilege to be invited to the budget speech of Eswatini and South-Africa. In the photo above I am with Allen from the Centre of advocacy, law and justice. We are working with them in the humanities department of Ywam.

·         In the other photo we are in the SA parliament with Nobuntu Hlazo-Webster that is a member of parliament. We are discussing possibilities of moral infusion for parliament.

·         Christien had a stall at the missions’ week of the NWU University. We moved to an internet strategy that is very doable for the students in their studies, and we still have a presence at the university now for 12 years.

·         We received a YWAM DTS group for Namibia that came for a braai to our home. We had a great time with them, and they enjoyed the break from hard work on the mission field.

·         I was invited to Rwanda to speak on a DTS-school. I could spend time in central Africa and got to know the situation in the area. It was a great week although I struggled with the malaria medicine.

·         In the photo above I was preaching in Ikageng. I am currently on a preaching circuit where I preach at least once a month at about 5 different locations. I also preached in Khutsong and the preacher afterwards said he is so happy I didn’t come with a gun but with the word of the Lord. As Khutsong can be volatile the only white people he saw was from the police or security. I can clearly see that the preaching circuit still brings a lot of reconciliation between races.

Thankful for a healthy family

We thank God for three new grandkids in three months. We had the privilege to visit Finland with Job and Iida where we also attended an event on the last day of the international Pentecostal Alliance gathering.

The twins both received their degrees, and each moved forward in maturity and wisdom, we are so proud of each of our children!

A lot more happened in the year, but this is some of the highlights.

Have a very blessed Christmas and a happy new year.

May you make time to pray, reflect, rest in God’s presence and listen to His Words of encouragement and wisdom for 2026 .
