Preaching in the deaf church

Preaching in a deaf church in Pretoria

I was invited by Pastor Dirk to preach in the AFM church in Pretoria in a deaf congregation. Andrea and Francois is serving in the church and are doing a very good job in the deaf community. The church has about 50 people and I ministered about hearing the voice of the Holy Spirit. It was a very touching experience as we continued to pray with Francois and Andrea in their journey with the deaf community.

Ministering in Vredefort, Free state

Johan invited me to come and minister in Vredefort about the Holy Spirit. We spent three sessions in a workshop- setting. It was a very blessed time as we did exercises in the hearing of the voice of the Holy Spirit. We also share vision for the training center that Johan is setting up in Vredefort. As Ywam Potch we are partnering with Touching Africa as we are establishing the Cornerstone training center that helps people grow spiritually and helps physically.

 Invitation to preach at a crusade in Ikageng

I have known pastor Mofokeng for many years and have preached in his church multiple times. He has established four churches in the area, and it is a privilege to help him preach the gospel in the community in Ikageng. Ikageng has about 500 000 people and the gospel is the core need of the society as all kinds of life comes when people devote their life to God.

 Teaching in Rwanda

In October I am going to teach on the Holy Spirit in Rwanda. This will be my first time to teach in Rwanda on a DTS (YWAM’s Discipleship Training School) . I have already taught in the DRC and Burundi on a DTS. This gives us the opportunity to understand all the sides of the central African situation. The training of the up-and-coming godly leaders is essential for the growth of the nations. Ywam Rwanda is established, and the students looks like good students with lots of potential. Please pray for that week for an encounter with God for the students.

 TPM and Prophetic Schools in their practical phase

The TPM and the prophetic schools have become our regular schools every year for the last 5 years or so. We have good student numbers, and the schools are established with good staff that helps. It is also good schools for the internet as the skills can be transferred on the internet.

The TPM practical is nearly finished and the prophetic school has 6 weeks of practical left. The TPM practical phase is very fruitful as all the participants do practical sessions with each other, and hear from Jesus in their pain and lies!

Christien having an arts exhibition at Aardklop

Christien is having an exhibition this week at the Reformed church on the Bult in Potchefstroom. Andrea and she have been working in the arts as it is important to have the realm of arts also as a sphere for the kingdom of life.

• 4)    Andrea and Francois speaking at the prophetic school this week and at the Deaf DTS in Worcester next week.
