A time to have Faith!
Hi guys. Hope you are all well.
What a last week! Through the grace of God I am working with the refugee circle
in Ywam. It is a crazy circle! Where there is a refugee crisis we are there,
keeping an eye on what is happening in those areas. We are trying to develop
strategies on how to overcome these very tough and dire circumstances. And then
Ukraine happened. Oh my word!! Has the circle been active!
Shock for many, as the invasion
happened
Many were stunned when the invasion happened and damage
control had to be done very quickly. Luckily the West decided to pursue every
peaceful tool possible to resolve the situation but still there are an
estimated 4 - 7 million refugees expected. It seems like we are looking at a
huge refugee presence in about 8 countries. We are currently working out
strategies and hearing from the Holy Spirit how He wants to address the issues.
It is such a privilege to do this with Jesus and to see the Prince of Peace in
action. Pray with us and continue to pray with us. My fellow people on the
circle are working tirelessly as they are in Europe and feeling the brunt of
the refugee crisis coming towards them. Different YWAM bases are taking in
Refugees and supporting our people on the ground in Ukraine PLEASE PRAY WITH US FOR UKRAINE!
Prophetic school
We have started with the prophetic school and we are in our 2nd week. We have 18 nations and about 40 students for which we are very excited. Our aim in the prophetic school is to teach sound Scriptural principles and also real life testimonies around the gifts of the Holy Spirit. I believe it is very important for world missions that young people are equipped with the truth around spiritual gifts and also how to walk responsible with the gifts of the Holy Spirit.
TPM school
Christien is also teaching the TPM school (Transformation
Prayer Ministry). The school is doing excellently and she has 78 people
involved in the school. We are so excited about all the ministries that can
start out of this school. She also has many nations and we can clearly see God
is moving in the school.
Truth from the Holy Spirit sets people free. The TPM method helps people to hear the Holy Spirit in their deepest pain. There are many people helping her and it is amazing how a very good discipleship system is active in the school. Please pray for the students and small group leaders who have a big responsibility.
Biblical worldview school
It is our second online biblical worldview school we are presenting. We have about 7 students but we have more senior Ywamers in the school that bring a lot of wisdom and we have very good interactive discussions. Out of the school of last year I was invited to teach at a DTS on the topic of Biblical worldview next week in a new country.
Josua going to Netherlands
Josua felt he wants to go to Netherlands for DTS and when he broke the news to us we thought it was going to be an uphill battle to get all the funds. He started with faith, he is working as much as he can and he is now very close to going for the lecture phase. His VISA was approved and he also got his flight ticket. He doesn’t have anything for the outreach phase yet. For the outreach phase he still needs R53000. So it is not a little amount of money but he is nearly halfway with the original amount.
