Newsletter December 2021
Merry Christmas to everyone and happy New Year!!. We hope you have a very blessed year ahead and that the pandemic enters its last year!
At this time we are planning for
the New Year as you are probably as well. Here are some of the highlights of
December and also a peek into the New Year’s planning.
Andrea and Francois got married
On the 16th of December our daughter Andrea got married to Francois Strydom. Francois was our school leader for 2 years and we are very happy with their marriage. It was a very good day and Andrea looked very beautiful. It was a day we had to prepare for, for quite a time. It was also our second marriage for the year! More photos – see our Facebook page.
Finally shifting to a new season
From the start of the
Coronavirus we started to sense a new direction from the Holy Spirit. We did
very well in our internet schools and we developed new schools as well. We saw
the grace of God over the internet schools and teaching in DTS’s. Therefore we
have decided to only concentrate on where we feel the grace of the Lord is in
our ministry and to cut-off the areas where we feel we put in a lot of energy
with fewer results. Our focus will therefore only be on internet schools and
speaking and teaching where invited. We also get a lot of opportunities to
mentor missionaries and young couples as well as lots of Tpm sessions.
Schools planned for the year
We plan to do two TPM counselling schools, two Prophetic schools, two Biblical Worldview schools and a new Refugee school. All of these schools have a lot of authority and we have good amounts of students in these schools. I also plan to develop a new school around healthy-family and in cooperation with Ratio Christi the school for evangelising world religions. We will then be focusing on second level or pre-DTS internet schools for anyone with access to the internet. This means that we will not pursue a property or staff living with us, but we will have staff helping us online for the schools from their own countries and homes.

Why the shift
We are privileged to have 2 bases
in Potch. When the second base was planted I asked the Holy Spirit what we must
focus upon and I felt Him saying: “mentor people”. This mentorship is more on a
global level and the technological advancements has meant that we can mentor
people from all over the world via zoom and What Sapp. The pandemic has truly
opened new doors for the gospel! This shift helps us to disciple people
consistently but to have fewer burdens as we are transitioning more into
parenting younger people and out of a traditional base that has a DTS focus. We
praise God as this is an ingenious new direction that helps us to live
according to our strengths and pioneer a new direction for the new internet
generation.

Josua finished matric
last year and did very well! He feels he wants to do DTS in Amsterdam in the Netherlands.
This starts in April - he is now painting and doing all kinds of little jobs to
be able to get the funds for the DTS. He also sent out a newsletter – Link Please pray with him in this time of preparation.

prayers in this regard.
