From base leader to movement leader
We heard that a base from Kona (Ywam’s
“head office’) was also planted in Potch. This was a very exciting development
but it did mean that we had to go and listen to the Holy Spirit for the
different roles of the bases. In other cities with more than one base it can
work if the roles are clearly identified. What I then heard from the Holy
Spirit is that they should concentrate on the DTS and Ywam Potch should focus
on second level internet schools. This was a sad and very exciting word - It
was sad because we enjoyed the young people in the house and we produced a few
bases and very strong leaders for bases in Africa with DTS’s in the past. But
it was also exciting because we could move more to our strengths and start to
feed the four movements that started from the Ywam Potch base. We started to
see that God is really in these movements and that this is His plan!
Biggest school in our
history
Our online prophetic school is
getting a lot of attention worldwide. We have now about 80 students that inscribed
from 14 different countries and the people are hungry to learn more. We also
get very good reports from the previous students, they rated the school very
highly. Because of the direct outflow of the school, I was invited to speak at
a DTS in Rwanda and had a zoom call with a persecuted nation .Everyone wants to
know how the Holy Spirit works and we had to go slower with the advertisement.
Please pray with us for the success of this school as the prophetic movement
flowing from this base is expanding quickly and rapidly.
House under
quarantine
My mother-in-law got Covid from a
friend in her Bible study group that got it from her hair dresser (he
unfortunately died from Covid). Then our Myanmar staff visited my mom-in-law
and also got Covid! Suddenly we heard that all the friends of Andrea and
Francois also got Covid and we were in a Covid crisis! 180 students in one of
the High schools got Covid. We were very concerned for Christien’s mother as
she is 78 and the Myanmar couple was also suffering and feverish.
Prayer encounter with
God
I was praying about this Covid
and saw a picture of a dark toxic cloud coming over an area. One night I woke
up and felt myself choking (like being hanged & shortness of breath in the
Spirit). I knew my mother in law was probably in trouble and prayed on the
grounds of the Constitution of the Cross that she would be forgiven and healed
on the cross and asked God for mercy to overcome this dark toxic demonic cloud.
That day my mother in law was taken to hospital. She later said she wanted to
give up but then she knew that the prayers of everyone would carry her through.
She was in hospital a week and came out without any long term damage. Praise
God! My father in law and both my parents got their first injection as well and
it seems that we might be heading for safe waters with the parents. Nobody from
the Vorster family got sick although all Andrea and Francois' friends got sick.
We thank God that we escaped this round and we try to stay as humble and wise
as we can while also resisting evil in faith.
Developing a handbook
for the international refugee circle
I was given the privilege to be
invited to join the international refugee circle. After our first very
successful conference (with 28 nations) I felt a command from the HS to develop
a handbook that will be a catalyst for groups to be developed around refugees.
Already we are planning to translate the handbook to Swahili, French and
Arabic. I am now about quarter way with the handbook and hope to be finished by
September. I also talk next week on the Mozambique DTS (via zoom) and then the
prophetic school starts.
TPMSA Zoom conference
a huge success
We hosted the TPM South Africa
Zoom conference – the focus was to MOVE OVER BOUNDARIES. There were three
speakers and we had many participants from different parts of the country. The message was received with open arms, which
shows the growth and willingness to reach out!
Job and Andrea
getting degrees
In the midst of all this Job got
his honours Astrophysics and Andrea got her degree in Consumer studies. Both
our kids were very good students and we are very proud of the way they flew
through their studies. Andrea is busy with her honours and Job is currently
doing her Masters! It seems Francois also got NSFAS which is a state
sponsorship for his English studies. Praise God for his blessing and protection
in this month!

and Sai Moon are no longer infectious but are still coughing a bit. Please pray
for their health. Please also pray for their country Myanmar for the kingdom of
God to come.

of the handbook for the refugee circle

in DRC next to the Tanganyika lake and the lava flow in a nearby city.

Falone who are finishing the building project of the Dzaleka Ywam base, also for their personal funding

Nadine who lost their vehicle in an accident and also have financial
issues
- Natalie
& Florian who got married and is now staffing at the Zomba base in
Malawi/
4) Development
of the biblical worldview school we also aim to roll out in September.
5) Our
finances are still also recovering as we lost a few sponsors due to Covid’s
financial impact in their lives.
