God is
faithful
Praise God for the year that passed.
It was amazing to see the Hand of God in our ministry and it was a great
privilege to end the year by talking on the United Nations. We are looking
forward to see what God is going to add this year. God is good, all the time!!
Running
two DTS’s for the first time
We are running two DTS’s for the
first time. For the previous five years we only run one DTS a year. When we
look back we realise that it was good for the 5 kids to only have one DTS a
year. The rest of the time gave us opportunity to establish strong ministries
and we have a lot of momentum as we go into this year. As we run two DTS’s it
means we are going to be on full-time outreach for 4 months of this year with
the DTS outreach groups! Liberty DTS starts in two weeks, please pray for our
students, staff and speakers.
Assisting
churches to grow
We are grateful to
see breakthroughs with churches in this last season. When I was praying I felt
the Holy Spirit saying: “Just serve churches”. As we started too adapt the
attitude of just serving churches and helping them too grow we are able to be
more of a blessing and our outreaches have more lasting impact as we introduce
the new converts to local ministries. We thank Resonate church that allowed us
this year to have our lecture phase at the church as we will serve them during the
lecture phase. We are also going to assist a church in Ikageng and we are going
to have one outreach to university and one outreach to the township every week.
Many exciting things are going to
happen during the DTS and it is normally a very busy time but also a time of
advancing the kingdom.
Visit
from Netherlands
Nicolas from Netherlands visited
us for two and a half weeks. In this time we got a lot of breakthrough for the
orphanage that we are working with. Joyce had 3 girls coming to her that is
pregnant and that doesn’t want their babies. Joyce is a place where the teenage
ladies can come that gets pregnant and that doesn’t want their babies. This
gives us the opportunity to get involved with individual cases and also give
the opportunity of doing the DTS to those who are willing. Nicolas has been
with us the 3rd time and now we are really starting to see advancement with the
orphan ministry.
Operation
Refugee
One of the big callings of the
base is to be involved with refugee ministry. We are planning an outreach for
April where we are going to visit refugee camps in Burundi and Congo. Please
pray with us as we have been following the Congo elections quite closely. Congo
now has a Christian president and we are full of hope that we can see
breakthroughs long awaited for that nation. We currently have 11 refugees that
did DTS directly related to our project. We got a promise of a sponsorship from
the Nederlandse Zendingbond to sponsor 5 refugees this year for DTS. We are
very encouraged and we see the hand of God especially in the quality of leaders
and the impact of the leaders that is being formed.
Writing
a book
I am going to write a book that
will be ready for November when we plan to go again to the UN. I will be busy during
the year and I have a lot of expectation for the power of the book. This will
be a follow up on my proposal to the UN for a new approach to democracy in
Africa. As Africa was known as the country of war it is time for a new dawn.
Please pray with me as this is an important project for me as we await the UN s
decision on my proposal for a research project amongst 30 000-40 000 refugees
in a camp.
In the midst of all this we enjoy
God every day as He moves in peace as we obey His voice and guidance daily.

We are running a prophetic school, a prophetic
camp, a TPM course and a DTS in the first semester. Please pray for all the
disciples coming out of these courses.

We thank God that He provided for our two older
kids to start off their year at the university. Please pray for our other 3
kids that also need to go through university in the next few years.
