We have seen Him working in a lot of people’s lives
that really needed His presence. We hope that more and more people can see and
feel the life-transforming work of His Holy Spirit.
Building a “soul winning” movement
From the planting of the base we followed the guidance
of the Holy Spirit as far as we could discern his guidance. Loren Cunningham (founder
of YWAM) said: “We build the airplane while we fly”. It is amazing when you
follow the Lordship of the Holy Spirit that you sometimes build something but
you are not exactly sure what you are building. Now, five years later we start
to see the amazing wisdom of God. We have trained about 200 in the TPM process and
they are constantly doing prayer counselling sessions. Many are doing sessions
on total unbelievers.

One of our newly trained African facilitators did
a session on a woman that went to sangoma for advice. The sangoma’s advice was
that she must murder a family member to get rich. But because of her emotional
turmoil she bumped into one of our facilitators - In prayer she had an
encounter with Jesus and gave over to the Lordship of Jesus and denounced ancestor
worship. Praise God! An innocent family member was saved and a life transformed!
If the 200 people we trained do one session a week
we will reach 10 100 people every year on a sustainable basis that have
personal encounters with Jesus. If we want to up this number we must just train
more facilitators.
Courses for the second semester
When I was in Switzerland one of the South-Korean
leaders said of university ministry: “Don’t make it too difficult for people,
meet them halfway with mini DTSs and give them a taste, then many will do DTS
later.” (DTS = YWAM’s intro course: Discipleship Training School ) As we are in
an area where YWAM is not that well known, we are looking back and seeing that
this is exactly the way God is leading us. In the second semester we are
continuing with the prophetic school and the TPM schools. These schools can be
done once a week and it’s easier than a DTS that is a 5 months full-time
course. Through this we run schools that are focused on the voice of the Holy
Spirit and people can feel the life-giving effect of an encounter with God – Just
like a mini-DTS. We have a lot of people asking us when we are going to do the
next DTS.
TPM school in a Muslim and Hindu area.
We have 4 TPM schools running this semester. One
school is finishing in Lenasia which is our first school that has primary
Indian students in church in Lenasia. We had 8 students and many of the
students became Christian from a Hindu background. It was a great privilege to spend
time and eat with the people from Lenasia and we know it is the first school.
Many times I drove past Lenasia but it was the first time I could spend time
and partner with the church in Lenasia. We know that many will receive sessions
in the town as the TPM has a way of spreading quickly as people receive amazing
healing from the process.
Pioneering a school at an African college
I am very excited about a new college where we are
going to pioneer our next school in Potch. We have trained a couple in the
prophetic school and the TPM that is working in Vuselela college. Elias is
going to train with me as we are planting a training in the college. This will
help the African youth to find a pathway to really connect with the Holy Spirit
and receive life-giving answers from Jesus Himself. Many of the sessions we had
with African people end up where people have to make decisions for Jesus as the
true root of their spirituality was actually with ancestor worship. As these
people truly turn to Jesus great healing takes place. Please pray with us as a
movement can start amongst the African youth.
We started our third prophetic school this past
Saturday with 23 students from four different towns. This school is arranged on
for Saturdays to include people who wants to come from other places. The
prophetic school is very exciting and the 2 schools so far has produced four
small groups that just started without us organising the groups Because of the
hunger of the people to continue with what they learnt in the prophetic school
they kept on meeting weekly after the school ended.
School starting in Fochville
We have very nice partnerships in the towns of
Ventersdorp and Fochville and Klerksdorp and we are doing our second school in
Fochville. After two or three TPM schools we run a prophetic school and then
normally one DTS in a year.
We are taking a break this year
from Nov DTS so our next date for a DTS will be November 2019. We would like to
see 50 people in our schools in the next six months and it seems we are close
already. Please pray with us for the soul winning movement to grow bigger and
that more people find their creation purpose through alignment to the will of
God for their lives!
